Our goal is to continuously utilize the advancements of the 21st century, further develop them as needed, and leverage the technical tools provided by information and communication technology to meet all needs, thereby enhancing safety and assisting the work of authorities. We contribute to their efforts in the following ways:
For many years, our association has been involved in the development of various mobile applications and software, whether for transportation, disaster situations, navigation, or public protection. The RSOE is committed to technological innovation, providing solutions for the most diverse situations. Our main goal is to increase public safety through our developments and contribute to efficient information flow in emergency situations. The applications we have developed assist both authorities and citizens in responding quickly and minimize damage in critical situations. We pay special attention to ensuring that our systems are user-friendly and accessible to everyone. We are proud that RSOE solutions have proven their effectiveness in various fields worldwide.
RSOE-EDIS is a service launched in 2004 that provides consolidated and standardized, preferably verified information about natural and human-made hazards and disasters that occur around the world.
To achieve this goal, our service continuously monitors various sources (partners, government and civil organizations, media) for information. These are collected, organized, and even verified multiple times before being displayed on the RSOE-EDIS website, which is available to everyone.
Our service monitors events 24/7, and we currently display various human-caused or natural events in 81 categories, including:
The events are displayed on the website in near real-time after collection and validation, and updates and related information will also be posted.
In addition to the basic event data, we can provide uniform formatted messages to our cooperating and contracted partners, which contain the information relevant to them. As an additional service, our now 16-year-old database also offers retrospective information on events that occurred in a given area or time, allowing for the creation of analyses.
Due to ongoing developments, event information is currently available in both Hungarian and English, and additional language support is under development.
