For professional sailors, administrative processes related to navigation can be carried out in a simplified electronic format, subject to registration. The sailor can complete the report on the PannonRIS website or through the PannonRIS mobile application, fulfilling their reporting obligation, and will receive a notification about the acceptance of the report. The system then automatically sends the necessary information to the relevant parties (navigation authority, disaster management, water police, and, if applicable, the authorities of countries involved in the transportation, etc.).
Through the passenger list (PAXLIST), hotel ships can make their electronic declarations in advance, thus shortening the time for customs and border police inspections and reducing the related administrative burden. PAXLIST also assists in providing EU statistical data. The waste management application targets the disposal and management of waste and bilge water generated on the ships, providing information about potential disposal sites, suitable ports, and their receiving capacity.
